Dyneema Sling

Dyneema fiber is the world's strongest fiber, boasting a strength up to 15 times that of steel for the same weight. Its excellent strength-to-weight ratio makes it and related products an ideal choice for numerous applications. Dyneema sling, made from Dyneema fiber, has the same diameter as steel cable slings under the same strength conditions, but weighs almost an order of magnitude less. This allows cranes with the same rated lifting capacity to lift heavier objects. Furthermore, it significantly outperforms steel cables and other synthetic fibers in terms of relaxation fatigue, bending fatigue, and abrasion resistance. Compared to polyester slings, it has a lower elongation, effectively improving lifting accuracy. The diameter of Dyneema slings is only 75% of that of polyester slings. With a weight that is more than half that of steel slings, this sling not only significantly improves lifting reliability and safety but also makes it easier to operate and install in the ideal position for the object being lifted, preventing damage. Its smooth surface further reduces the risk of injury to operators and workplace accidents compared to steel cables, which are prone to breakage and injury. Furthermore, the addition of a Dyneema fiber sheath significantly enhances its cut and abrasion resistance, eliminating the need for cumbersome protective pad installation. It can be used multiple times without tearing or splitting, even when lifting rough or sharp objects. This advantage over ordinary synthetic fiber slings is particularly pronounced, effectively solving the problem of rapid damage when lifting coiled steel or similar objects with ordinary synthetic fiber slings.
